Thank you to everyone for making the HiSAM Museum Gallery Winter Swell opening so successful and memorable. The turnout was great and it was such a pleasure to meet and say aloha to so many.
I was especially touched to have my two mentors, Auntie Momi who has believed & encouraged me since I was a little girl & living legend artist Harry Tsuchidana who has encouraged me to create & follow my dream. And I am so blessed to have Dennis who has been my rock. I love all of them so.
A highlight for me personally was having the beautiful little girl I met on the red carpet present me with a drawing she made, she is a sweetheart. And it was so special that Cidni Romias & her mother Toni came to spend the evening with us. Dennis & I are so priviledged to have Cidni play our granddaughter on Hawaii Five-0. And thanks to my dear friends Shannon Hagel & Jill Burgum coming from Canada & the mainland. And it was great to have my parents & family. It was a priviledge to exhibit with talented Steven Kean. Mahalo to Lisa Shiroma & Aly Ishikuni-Sasaki and the HiSAM Museum Gallery Shop for the honor to exhibit in such a wonderful venue.
